He know that decision was soft but I respect it.
For me, KD's 1st reply to CJ's "soft" tweet is fine. But as we can see now, CJ squashed it and it's done for him.
Meanwhile, KD can't stop talking about it and trying to defend himself because he's sensitive and cares what people think more than probably any other NBA player, certainly more than any star.
