Also Flagg is a way more colorful character in all his book incarnations. Just don't see it.

Just read where today’s episode, “The Queen”, is going to be fantastic (didn’t read the EW article to avoid spoilers). Can’t wait to watch it tonight.

Honestly I’m confused on The Kid. As far as who is what my theory is that Henry is “the devil” and doesn’t know it.
In the wardens letter he says “the devil is a boy” as in a little boy. They never show “The Kid” as a little boy, and Pangborn even says he’s not changed in 20 years.
The only little boy they’ve ever ebmven showed in the whole series is Henry.
I think the kid is the evil from IT sent to awaken Henry to his true self (the devil, Satan, Merlin, Flagg). Remember Flagg from the deal tower “I’ve been called many names”
