We need Boudreaux back so he can tell idiots that support film credits how bad they are.

Your article started with this little gem
quote:

If tariffs made citizens better off, shouldn’t California want to restrict trade with Maine?

I’m going to assume the rest is drivel as well.

Pure free trade is just like communism. It only works as a theory.

Wrong.

The analogy is absolutely appropriate.

Imagine how much richer we all will be when the other countries are forced to play fair.

But no, let's let China and everybody else continue to assrape us.

You want politicians to determine "fair"? What an idiot. Who would trust Obama or Hillary to decide fair. That is the term politicians use to justify their power to impose tariffs.

Define exactly what China does that is unfair that we should attempt to change? Should the Chinese attempt to change our "unfair" subsidies of farm crops that hold down world wide prices?

Why WOW?? If California thought Maine was "unfair" in producing something would you support interstate tariffs?

If international tariffs are good, aren't interstate good? Should we be able to tariff computers to protect Louisiana computer manufacturers? Should New York tariff films made in Louisiana because we unfairly subsidize their production?

If it cost consumers an extra penny to cause them to choose to buy American and employ an American producer instead of a Chinese producer, wouldn’t that extra penny be worth it? Wouldn’t that benefit America on the whole instead of making China more wealthy? If that’s true, then why would a penny tariff be bad? If a penny tariff, in this example, is a good thing, then maybe we should think farther along than looking at tariffs as just another tax with no consideration for the big picture?

Listen Trump is the straightest shooter to grace the office in my lifetime. He promised to put America and Americans first and damned if he isn't keeping his promises. That doesn't mean much to folks who are ok with being BS'ed during a campaign for office. But it does to most Trump supporters since he has made a habit of keeping his word with them. If keeping his word means nothing then by all means vote for someone who is FOS and take what ever they dish up if it makes you happy.

Is this your website that you're shilling? Because it does nothing but rehost other content. Why not source the original material?

Why would it be good? you would have simply taken that penny from something else that person would have spent it on.

Chinese imports create a LOT of US wealth. Have you ever bought a Chinese made product in the USA from a Chinese company or store in the USA?

If you don't know and have not read FEE you have little standing to argue tariffs in an objective way.

Do yourself a favor and read some stuff there and you will learn a lot. One thing you might learn is a little critical thinking.
