We are at about $680 a year in River Oaks IIRC. We have an assessment for an extra $200 a year right now for street repairs. We tried to get a one time assessment for $1800 or so I think to totally overlay all the streets and that was a cluster. We are in constant limbo and have had 2 votes to let the parish take over the streets, i'm a NO on that one. I want to raise the fees and put up a gate. Ours are flat fees and it doesn't matter the size of your house. This is good for people like me that live in the back in the newer, bigger houses but not so good for someone who has a smaller,older house up front.

We've been looking also and think we will eventually end up in The Sanctuary or Old Mandeville as well.
