I’m trying to figure out when “meddling” started being used on Television shows not called Scooby Doo.
Posted on 7/17/18 at 11:41 am to CajunTiger78
The idea of meddling as a phenomenon to be talked about exists only to undermine the legitimacy of Trump's presidency. Whether Russia meddled or not, doesn't really matter. It is a rhetorical means to an end.

I don't see what that has to do with anything

The intelligence community had a problem with what was going on and all of this country should have that same problem right now.
quote:Maybe.
The Russians hacked into the DNC server in order to help Donald Trump win
quote:That's her own illegal activities.
Hard to say how much the email scandal hurt Hillary and her campaign but I would say it was certainly effective.
quote:Says you.
That is meddling in our democracy on a very large scale so I'm not sure what you would like to compare it to.

But either way, Trump does need to learn the difference between the accusations that he colluded and Russia “meddling.” He seems to think when people say they meddled, that it was him telling them to do so as collusion
I agree! Same goes for the Left and COLLUSION! Russia could have meddled, doesn't mean Trump team was directing them or knew. But that doesn't matter.

They spent like $130,000 on some Facebook ads and groups

This conclusion doesn't follow at all. The only way these two things could be connected is if you knew there was something on that server that would hurt democrats chances in the election. It is tantamount to assuming the democrats are dirty cheats. If Russia knew that, more power to them.

Did they affect the outcome of our election? That part has been answered and it's a resounding "NO".
The answer is we don't know because it would be virtually impossible to try to "prove" that one way or the other by doing "after the fact" polling. Did it make a black and white difference, probably not. Did it have the potential to make a difference, likely.
The effect of the social media bots, to me, was negligible. But the DNC hacks had an effect, no doubt. The questions is, how much?

I hope you realize how stupid all of this sounds
Really? so we would still have an 18 month long SC investigation if Hillary would have won? You're spinning the narrative into "large scale attack on our democracy" from "collusion" bc the collusion story is imploding. Sorry, I'm not buying your Moral high ground about protecting our democracy. I hope you realize how stupid all of you look and sound.
Dems are upset about the Hack and don't give a damn about the content that was leaked from DNC.
Care so much about this large scale attack on our democracy, yet say nothing about the DNC refusal to turn over servers to intel community. We hear nothing from dems about the shady AF dealings with Clintons and DNC members with Russia. But now you have this moral high ground. Save me your psychobabble BS.

You're right, it did, It showed the true corruption and hypocrisy of the DNC. That's why the left is pissed, they were exposed.
Did it effect the overall outcome, no. It just solidified individual positions. Case in point, all the dems with "collusion", yet say nothing about content that was leaked.

I wasn't referring to the hacking of the actual voting machines. That has been settled for some time.
Can you read? Did you not read my full post.

You're so intent on stupid gotchas that you make asinine posts all the time.

The intelligence community has a problem with another countries intelligence community doing the same thing that the aforementioned intelligence community does?

Didn't the dossier come from Russia as well? Which was used to get a FISA warrant to spy on a political opponent. And it's been two years of investigating without any evidence. The truth hurt Hillary.

What about the DNC rigging the primaries? How much effect did that have?

It had zero outcome on votes or the electoral college. Internet Trolls don't decide elections. People and votes do. The voting machines nor the electoral college were compromised. Hillary lost. She can run again in 2020 if she wants.

She literally had THREE DIFFERENT email scandals in the campaign, and Russia only orchestrated/facilitated one of them.
Bathroom server and Weiner's laptop had nothing to do with Russia, other than that they never found the 33,000 missing emails.
