Is 9-3 the bottom to be considered a good season? I'm thinking 10-2, 11-1 would be over acheiving to me. I do believe we can get to 10-2 if JB is the real deal and someone steps up on the other side of Greedy.

What you guys think?

10 wins. Anything less we could have just kept Miles. And I'm not a Miles fan. Expectations shouldn't drop because of schedule or HC.

I’m not an O fan, but I will concede that 9-3 is adequate for this year’s schedule. Next year, 10-2 is the minimum.

Agreed. We are probably going to play 4 top 10 teams.

LSU should win at least 50% of those games. We also should beat every underdog. That's the model for a good season.

I mean, if O goes 9-3, its not great, but would be hard to argue that it is a "bad" season. I guess it would show that he isn't completely driving the train off the tracks and would definitely earn him another year.

As much as I dislike him as HC, 9-3 isn't a disaster.

Hate to say it but 9-3 with this schedule is good. Most are picking us at 6-6 7-5 type season

I would be content with a 9-3 season with a bowl game opportunity to win number 10.

Not to put too fine of a point on it but it does matter to some extent to know who tagged us with those three losses.

Come on guys. I've seen and responded to this exact post at least a dozen times. Are you trying to get a better sample to calculate the exact Mean, Median and Mode???

At some point O needs to win 10 games

9-3 is good if you close out and win the bowl.

9-4 in year 2 with 2 recruiting classes under his belt is a bit rough even with a tough schedule.

10-3 would be showing progress.

I dont Think 9-4 gets O fired or should but you can’t stay stagnant at 9-10 wins too long.

No way we should set a lower standard for wins just because O is now HC - no matter the schedule. Only a truly dumb fan base would justify a standard less than we’ve averaged since 2000.

Honestly, I'll be "satisfied" at 8-4, considering most odds makers have us between 6.5 to 7.5 wins at best. That and a bowl win will make for "good".

9-3 with a bowl win will be successful.

Anything above that I will consider gravy.

LSU will never win 11 in a CFB season with your current decision makers at the top. Especially in a football conference that is rotten to the core.
