Odd update to Hal Higdon Marathon Training -->
Finished 15 mile long run today stronger and more steady than expected. Made some minor nutrition errors and other issues but I'm happy with progress and pace but here is my issue ...
Post run , I've been hit with more self doubt then I've had yet..sat down and almost swore to myself 11.2 more miles is impossible so I should just throw in the towel. I won't, but it was just a weird and unexpected thought after a good run. I guess this is where the mental challenge & fight begins.

Stay positive and stick with your training. You got this.

Always remember that these long runs are coming on the heel of a week full of mileage. Your legs and body are tired. Come race week, you will be rested and those later miles won't have the effect they do now.
I had the same doubts, especially after my 20 miler. I thought there was no way I could go another 10K, but that week I had logged a total of 40 miles. That won't happen race week.
