Very much enjoyed getting back on the trails this morning. I certainly wasn’t fast, but that wasn’t what I cared about this morning

I ran a random set of trails in Rockwall this week it was muddy and winding. Never went in a straight line longer than 100m. Averaged over 12:00 pace but it was a ton of fun. I felt like it was a good effort but there was no way I was going to set any records.

It was like a blanket was laying on me in the woods this morning. Super thick humidity and no breeze. Dead calm.

Also some nice climbs that I found myself knee hiking up. Felt like I was at UTMB...sorta.
