I’d be careful of over exertion on something like that. If your body feels like it can handle it then maybe try a few and see how that goes. But I’d save sprint day/speed training as a separate thing. Just my opinion. I’m more conservative.

Did my 7 miler this morning as part of the NYC marathon qualification. 55:03. Pretty pleased. It was humid. Everyone was dripping at the end. Went out hot and had to slow down to make it at the end. Pleased overall.

Thanks quail man,

I'll find a conservative mix, or, do a better job of watching my gps haha.

I just began to worry because these is no dedicated speed work in the Hal Higdon marathon plan for my level.

Great job with the 55:03.
