Just ended up taking the weekend off. Sometimes as a runner you don't want to listen to your body and want to just keep going because you think a week off will kill your progress and I just have to remind myself it's a croc-pot and not a microwave. (It's a long process of getting better incrementally with consistency) If anything I will now hit the next two peak weeks with energy and health and it will end up being 500x more useful than had I not listened to my body.

ETA: just a reminder it's the rest that makes you stronger, not the runs

yea i had to remind myself that yesterday. was going to go run 8 to make up for an off day i had to take on tuesday to take care of dad duties. Felt great and probably couldve done it but reminded myself just becuase i feel like i can doesnt mean i should.

Adjusting this week to be more easy mile focused. Got a baby 10 x 1 min on 1 min off fartlyk into my run this morning and will get a hard day wednesday. Outside of that its all easy/moderate miles this week. Aiming to get 66-70 in.
