That's actually a great thread, glad you linked to it because it confirmed some information I've been looking for, specifically:

I still have a pair of Altra Torins I usually do my "mid week easy" run in just for this reason. to "Change things up" - my Sunday Recovery run is also in a very different shoe than the Speeds as well, but I did my run yesterday in them and they felt horrible (though it was 11 miles and the longest I've ever run in them was 6)

Hoooo it got warm on my lunch run today. My watch showed an insane HR that I figured to be cadence lock after I finished. I knew it felt worse, but not "180bpm on an easy run" worse
