Exactly prime example. you talk about wanting to get faster and get 10k time below 7min/mile pace but won't take advantage of a great tool when its too hot to get the real training done. to each is their own.

Definitely. I incorporate the treadmill quite often, it’s the only way to control my effort in this heat, really

I get my runs in early in the AM. Very rarely put any miles in on the treadmill. Not ashamed to say that I hate it and if the key to me getting faster is treadmill mileage, then I’ll just be slow. Heat, rain, snow, hasn’t kept me from running outside.

Yea it’s a catch 22. I refuse to run on tread for longer than I need to but thankfully I have some indoor track options around me to utilize.
