You'd have to dig for it, but there's a lengthy running shoe thread. It's been dormant for a few months, but pretty much every shoe has been discussed.
I moved from the Saucony endorphin speed to the adidas adios pro 3. Yes, it's intended as a marathon shoe, but the midsole technology is amazing (I prefer it over zoomx) and it's very stable and usable at a variety of speeds.
Relatively easy to find discounted as well.

Thanks, I looked with a general search and Streakfly didn't come up anywhere. The Adios 3 looks interesting. I'm definitely not aiming at the $200+ options, but I like to get the old model sales as the new ones come out and maybe that one and others are about to happen. I think last year around May is when all the 50% on Saucony's came around.

agree adios pro 3 is great shoe. I went through close to 10 pairs of speeds v1 and v2. Pro 3 is straight up better. have a pair of the takemi sens 8 that is probably similar to streakfly. its firm and fast. its slightly narrow. good for 10k maybe up to half marathon.
water proof trail shoes not big fan of. if its raining or ground already has puddles your sock is going to get wet regardless. waterproof also cuts back the ventilation. for regular trail shoe i just picked up nike wildhorse 8. its more similar to wildhorse 5 where 6 & 7 were total bust. the 8 now has zoom x foam, new rubber compound that seems to way better than the old which was slippery if it was just humid. took them out the box and did 35 miles no issue. another trail shoe i really like is adidas speed ultra. sticky tread, great ground feel and enough cushion for 50k but intended for shorter fast paced. picked up a second pair last week for $40 ($160 original) shipped off adidas website
