I was binge watching Cityzen225 youtube videos lastnight and I came across this game. Might be one of the most frustrating games I remember watching along with Auburn in 06.

we had all the momentum up 7-0 and forced florida to punt and chevis jackson fumbles the punt return giving them an easy touchdown then next drive the game is 7-7 and we drive 75 yards and Jamarcus fumbles on the 1 yard line.

then comes in tebow and all of the blown coverages and poor tackling. just a frustrating game. I remember my dad muted the TV because of verne blowing Tebow. I think if Chevis doesnt fumble or if Jamarcus doesnt fumble then we are 2006 national champs

We were two plays away in Gainesville and a PI in Auburn from going undefeated. Very frustrating season but so to speak the god’s rewarded us a year later.

Most frustrating game will always be 2011 Oklahoma State-Iowa State. Reasons why are as follows:

1. We didn’t play in it
2. Oklahoma State was favored by 28 and led 24-7 in the second half
3. Quinn Sharp’s kick looked like it was good, but it was called no good
4. Oklahoma State has a tipped interception in 2OT
5. It came the day after the women’s basketball coaches died in a plane crash
6. It led directly to 1/9
7. 2011 LSU would’ve gone down as the best team ever had they won the title

LSU should've won 3 straight titles from 05 -07. They were that good and nearly every game we lost in that three year span was some fluke garbage and it was just a dumb loss that shouldn't of happened. 11-2, 11-2, 12-2. If we don't get lucky in 07 in that last week with all the teams that dropped then the three most talented teams LSU ever had overall outside of 2011 possibly will have all gone home without a title. It's truly amazing to go back and watch just how good we really were from 05- 07. Haunting man.

That was a frustrating game. LSU literally had an NFL offense that year, but it sputtered a lot. You can't blame the talent level. I remember a lot of fans were unhappy with Jimbo Fisher as OC that year. LSU smoked Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl and Jimbo was off to FSU. Les hired Gary Crowton as his replacement.

That was a tough one. I drove up from Miami for it, and the Tebow jump pass happened right in front of us. Never forget that.

The night game two years earlier in Gainesville was a blast.

I remember the game well. We had some unfortunate calls go against us but my take is always adapt and overcome and we had several opportunities to do that...it's a game we should have won.

All the things you mentioned were examples, we also had a guy in their punters grill and to this day I can't understand how he did not block that punt.

And Tebow got so much shine off that jump pass that floated like a balloon up there for 10 seconds it made me nauseous.

LSU played that game like the football version of Keystone cops. If I hadn’t been so traumatized by the results, I would’ve laughed.
