I was in an Uber in DC a few weeks ago and this frickwad was bitching about Trump to me. I was just thinking... You have no idea who I am. In what world do you think it's acceptable to bitch about a politician to someone who you are fricking providing a service to (and you just met)?

If this was the other way around they would be melting so bad.

If the Uber guy accepted the ride on his cell phone and arrived at the place to pick this person up, he contractually agreed to pick him up. He could lose his status and be suspended from Uber

Did the driver tell him the reason? I mean money is money a Trump supporter's money spends just as well as a Democrat's money and a person driving for Uber/Lyft ain't ding that for fun, they are doing it because they need the money - stupid if true

I think it's worth discussing whether Uber has an issue with systemic racism.
It's critical to remember Andrew Klavan's first rule of "mainstream" news coverage in America. "Whenever the prejudices and illusions of left-wingers are confirmed by an individual incident, the incident is treated as representative; when those prejudices and illusions are contradicted, the incident is considered an aberration."
