FireTV box keeps dropping 4k ability

I have a 2015 FireTV box which supports 4k and a Phillips UHD TV (65 PFL6902/F7) where all the HDMI ports are HDCP 2.2. For some reason the Fire TV eventually stops detecting HDCP 2.2 which makes the 4k stop working in apps like Prime and Netflix and I have to restart the FireTV to get 4k working again. Losing 4k is intermittent and I haven't been able to track down what is causing it to be lost although I have tried multiple HDMI cables that supposedly support HDCP 2.2 and that didn't fix the problem. I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to HDTVs so was hoping someone had suggestions on how to fix it or at least what to google for. could be a bandwidth issue
you might be dropping below the required speed needed for UHD streaming

I don't think that's it. After it loses 4k I go to the display settings on the Fire TV it complains about not detecting HDCP 2.2. When I restart the Fire TV and go to the display settings it shows me 4k with no error or complaint about HDCP 2.2.

You try different HDMI cables?

Yes. The first one I got from Best Buy but the packaging on most of their cables isn't very informative as to what specific standards were supported, so I figured that might be the problem. I got a 2nd HDMI cable from Amazon that had all the right acronyms and version numbers and while I do get 4k on start up, it goes away intermittently.
