Good luck! Also, the best thing to volunteer for is KP duty.

This.

It's not a trick. Most relaxing day you will have there.

About halfway through they will ask for volunteers to tryout for the pj's/special tactics. Lots of swimming and running but it was a lot of fun.

Such a pointless and redundant career field. Same goes for PJs. I don’t know why the Air Force even has those MOS,s

Have fun at the resort. And congrats on joining the easiest and least respected of all branches. Even the Coast Guard laughs at you.

Sorry Bro! you weren't smart enough to qualify for the air force. We all Know the smartest people are in the Air Force

LOL...Our sister flight had a TI named "682" Jones.
Big brother, probably 6'6", 260 give or take.

got his nickname because when he stopped you for an f-up he took both your 341's....one for whatever your screw up was and the other for making him stop and inform you of your f-up.

Yeah ..real waste having these guys out in the field to direct close air support firepower, collect intel, support other units SF/SEAL teams and liason coordination between multi-unit ops...what were they thinking..

AirForce CCT to recieve Medal Of Honor

To be fair, this was 16 years ago..Hopefully the comment was meant more towards "we train differently now, so some of these specialties aren't as needed"

True as a reassessment may be, the military(Pentagon, I'm talking to you) is notorious for making bad decisions on looking ahead.

-Buying the F-4 as the AF's primary fighter without an internal gun for dogfighting

- Trying time and time again to can the A-10 for some BS derivative F-16 to fill the close air support role (and finding out time and time again that NOTHING on this planet is as good at it as the A-10 at this role)

-Replacing all our aging fighter-bombers with the F-35 (Which I fear will come back and bite us on the arse)
History taught us that when you make an airplane for too many multi-roles, you wind up with one that's not good at any of them (Can you say F-111?)

But time will tell I guess

Should probably just fold the AF into the Navy anyway
