Week 2 Update:
Not tracking grocery costs anymore, but I'm eating more steak so I'm sure its higher than last week. Mostly Ribeyes, Strips, and ground bison. Tried beef liver last week, but it was hard to finish, probably b/c it was frozen and I think I overcooked it. I have some calf liver I'm going to try, seared.
Workout energy level is good, once I get going. Resting energy seems down a bit, steady, but down.
Not in ketosis, which I kind of miss.
No more cramps.
Bowel movements are stabilized and steady. Not very much, especially considering I'm averaging 2.5lbs of meat a day.
I had a couple cheat days this weekend where it was pretty much straight keto with large amounts of whiskey and low carb beer. I do miss the variety of food keto offers, but I'm back on the wagon again.
Honestly, I'm not sold on the diet as of now as there is really no noticeable upside to this diet other than its incredible simplicity. I will still continue to Day 30, b/c there is really no downside that I've noticed, other than expensive/hard to describe when eating out with others.

Are you doing any roasts? I found that a fair amount of roast made carnivore easier and varied it up (also potentially cheaper).
Seems like most people go a bit overboard on the steaks, it's almost become a caricature at this point. I love steak (and eat quite a bit), but there's plenty of other meat.
One thing buying a whole cow teaches you is: There really isn't that much "steak," a lot of the animal is best either ground or low and slow.
