As a global commodity... the less coal the U.S. consumes the cheaper it becomes. Low price encourages other countries to use it. China is supposed to triple their consumption between now and 2035. That is a lot of coal being burned in other countries without anything close the environment restrictions on pollution we have in the U.S. At least air pollution in one country doesn't have a way to affect other countries.

The liberals that attack coal are just causing more of it to be burned in countries that pollute to the extreme. If the U.S. doesn't consume it, it is on the global market even cheaper. There is a reason every time you see a picture of Hong Kong everyone is wearing a mask on the street.
