It's awesome. Live locally. Go out every now and then for the Ice exhibit at Christmas. Super nice hotel that sits on Lake Grapevine with lots to do inside the resort and nearby.

It's pretty nice, haven't stayed but have walked around through it. The teams usually have stayed there for the Cotton Bowl game as one of the team hotels.

Very nice hotel. Company does conventions there yearly plus we go and stay the weekend once a year with the family.
The food inside is pretty good. Zeppole would be my favorite, but you have downtown Grapevine less than 5 minutes away and its very cool. Go down there to shop and/or eat.
They do a lot of cool stuff for kids. inside the hotel last summer they had scavenger hunts and had random cartoon characters spread throughout the hotel. Also at night they did a 3D Alice in Wonderland show.
About 3 years ago they had to step up their pool game since the Great Wolf opened across the street, so they build a 8 million dollar water park area. Its very nice and your kids will love it. Lazy river, rides, and plenty of space to hang out.
One tip that we wish we would have known- It says no food or drinks outside of water allowed in the water park, but everyone else had their tall Yeti's filled with mixed drinks and beer. Nobody checks the bags so everyone was pulling out their food and alcohol and we had to pay full price at the bar.
Its a resort so expect resort prices, so plan ahead

We went for 3 nights the weekend before Christmas last year. It's pretty nice. Not quite as big as the one in Nashville, but still a great place.

Bump - just booked for the end of the month. How was it, where did you eat, are the breweries nearby any good? Thanks
