Ocasio-Cortez's campaign biography describes her father as 'a small business owner'...The home, a single-story with a finished basement, most recently sold for $355,000 in 2016. The median annual income in the area is $116,741, compared to the median annual income of $48,315 in Parkchester's zip code, according to the latest Census data...The house was sold and Ocasio-Cortez now lives in the same Bronx apartment where she lived until age five."
Bernie people contacted her about running for office. Not surprised.

Looks like her family maintained that apartment even while living in that nice home, and then she moved back into the apartment after returning from Brown. It costs about $70k per year to attend Brown.

Honestly she sounds very smart and a hard worker. Yes her ideology is lacking but I think conservatives would be better off not trying personal attacks.

-educationally minded parents
-architect father
-homeowner
-upwardly mobile enough to enroll in better schools than her peers
-Ivy league graduate
Maybe not "rich" but certainly entitled. Definitely not "working class." And worst of all, she embodies everything positive about capitalism and nothing that defines socialism.
Certainly you can infer the dishonesty in her platform.
