Yes indeed so many wasted plays and wasted time and wasted plays some more! Thank God that bastard's gone!!! But this damn Ensminger better be bad to the bone! Gotta be super aggressive and creative!

Yeah when your kids are calling the play before it happens imagine what guys getting paid millions could do. Really miss him as a play caller

Yeah, there isn’t a quote from Diaz anywhere similar to that in that douchebag’s article. And there certainly isn’t one from “every other SEC DC” like your douchebag thread title.

quote:

Diaz, son of a former Miami mayor, has faced LSU twice before as Mississippi State's defensive coordinator in 2010 and 2015. He's 0-2 vs. the Tigers

This is factual, however

The ENTIRE reason he is no longer coaching!! He was Bull headed! He would still have a JOB, if he would have changed his offensive philosophy!

There's nothing wrong with the I formation anyways. It's all in how it's run. O says he wants to run that USC offense. Guess what? They ran I formation.

Yup.

Miles really runs a tremendous program.. he just couldn’t get out of the offense since 2008. It became infuriating and painful the last few seasons.

There wasn't much guessing for Diaz in formulating a game plan.

Meaning: If Diaz could figure that out so could everyother DC in the SEC.

Yeah, that’s commentary from the author, not a quote from Diaz.

Well apparently Diaz didn't figure it out now did he.

He never said it was a quote from Diaz. What's your problem?

I don’t like idiots that just post stuff to stir up old shite, especially when it’s based on stupid myths

He posts an article that is a weak attempt to knock a former coach and offensive approach that beat the guy we are facing in our season opener twice.

And this is the part that he quotes and his comment:

quote:

Quote: He knew then-LSU coach Les Miles was married 'til contract buyout do-us-part to the I-formation.

Bring on the the Ensminger Unknown Offense.

Does he know that in the first meeting that coach and system put up 37 points and three for almost 300 yards?

In the second meeting we ran for almost 300 in a season opening road game.

Pretty obvious the actual DC would have been pretty foolish to knock the old approach, but of course, he didn’t. Just some hack writer’s bias and OP rushes here to post it with a biased and uniformed belittling comment of his own.

Why bring on this new offense when the old one worked pretty damn well against this guy before?

Pretty high bar for the new guy to meet, actually

I knew we were in trouble one Saturday night when my sister came over who seldom watches football and by the 3rd quarter was calling the plays before we ran them and the whole room of people started laughing and louder with each passing play she was right. When leaving she asked how do we win a game if the other team has the same amount of talent? Someone yelled, That's the difference between 2 & 3 loss season and championships.

Guess what...no they didn’t. They ran a west coast offense with mostly 3 wr formations and no full back.

They ran both. But, with White especially, they ran a lot of I formation. If you feel like skimming through this video you will see it.
