Most cat hulls can get pretty skinny if needed. Hell the 27 worldcat I owned drew less than 15” at the transom.That thing also held 240 gallons of gas and laughed at a 3’ sea. Had that hull in 30-36” of water a few times

I know they can get fairly shallow, just seems like they would be a pain to troll with the higher sides and two of them. I would think wind could mess you up.
But I could easily be wrong.
