Holy crap. I completely forgot about him. I grew up playing Jr. golf in Mobile while he was at USA. He was all of our “idols” when we’d see him at the range or out on the course.

He spent a considerable amount of his youth in Bunkie, La also. His dad, Jack, ran several golf courses in the La/Ms area. I wouldn't be surprised to see him show up on the Champions Tour when he turns 50, and do really well...
