The article that came out the other day was not a good for Andy at all.
I didn't see it, what publication?
Also, Doug Norman made his professional debut tonight for the Greenville Reds in the Appalachian League. 1.1 IP, 2K. He did not pitch in the minors last season still recovering from TJ. On his team is former LSU commit Stephen Keller. Keller decommitted from LSU shortly before the draft last year to commit to a JUCO. He signed with the Reds after being drafted very, very late.
ETA: Found it. This is the guy people want back?

Gautreau and Brown took over the offensive duties, previously handled by Cannizaro. How’d the offensive approach change?
“We didn’t have an approach before,” Mangum says flatly.

Yeah really bad look all around, the only person who took up for him remained anonymous
But...
WAT
But...

“There’s definitely an initial shock,” says Gautreau, a sports agent for the last few years before Cannizaro hired him last June. “You look at it as we had a coach with everything in front of him, best college baseball program in the nation. You were proud of him and proud of the opportunity. Looking back, how could you not take advantage of this opportunity and be here as long as you can?”
WAT

Cannizzaro built this team
No. He gets no credit whatsoever for this success. This is all Henderson and the players responding in spite of that narcissist's sabotage of their program.
I don't normally root for other sec teams, but it would be the ultimate repudiation of that jacksss.

I understand that sentiment.
But just remember, rooting for State is rooting for John Cohen.

Say what you want Cannizzaro BUILT that team.
dude, most of State's starters were not recruited by Cannizzaro
Batting Lineup
Jake Mangum - junior (Cohen recruit)
Hunter Stovall - junior (Cohen recruit)
Rowdy Jordan - freshman (Cannizzaro recruit)
Elijah MacNamee - junior (Cohen recruit)
Tanner Allen - freshman (Cannizzaro recruit)
Jordan Westburg - freshman (Cannizzaro recruit)
Marshall Gilbert - junior (Cohen recruit)
Dustin Skelton - sophomore (Cannizzaro recuit) *he's their worst player easily
Luke Alexander - junior (Cohen recruit)
Pitching Rotation
Jacob Billingsly - redshirt senior (Cohen recruit)
Konor Pilkington - junior (Cohen recruit)
Ethan Small - redshirt sophomore (Cohen recruit)
So of their 9 guys in the lineup and 3 starting pitchers, Cannizzaro recruited 4 of the 12. Cannizzaro did not build this team. He definitely did his best to tear it apart, though

Committed to State on 7/27/15. Not a Cannizaro recruit.

Was already enrolled at State when Cannizaro got the job.
I couldn't find anything on when Westburg committed. So only one guy in their starting line up was definitely as Cannizaro recruit.
ETA: Westburg committed in July of 2016, well before Cannizaro got the job.

And those players weren’t shot when Cohen hung it up. He BUILT that team to what it was last year and this year. He coached them up. He taught them how to play the game just like he taught Bregman how to run bases and steal.
Give him some credit - they played great last year with him as head coach and this year is a carry over from that.
This has ZERO ago do with LSU and I’m not sure why people are so fricking triggered with mentioning his name on here. Who gives a frick? He porked a grown arse woman who left to go with a football coach. WTF. Consenting adults.

Mississippi State won the SEC in Cohen's last season.

Are you sure, look at pregon state. That team is built for power pitching and power hitting. Msu could have easily coasted to cws finals if carolina would have done their job and not pulled out the guy that was doing an awesome job. If msu wants to advance, they need to pitch well and their coach needs to pay attention. Doesnt really matter any ways, arky will spank oregon state and lsu will be loaded next year for baseball. Looking really good for lsu in 2019 season baseball

Hate to say I told you so.
