So by following the law, laws which are enacted by Congress, somehow it is this POTUS that is responsible?
That the kids in the cages in 2014, 2015 are somehow POTUS Trump's doing?

You could argue that Trump’s policy of criminal prosecuting EVERY illegal, whether they bring a kid or not, actually protects children from trafficking. Otherwise, there is a perverse incentive for illegals to “buy” a kid to accompany him across the border to prevent his prosecution. If there is a demand to “buy” children for that purpose, you can bet there will be a market to provide them, supported by kidnappings and the like.
