Take a look at Amazon ice makers. I think we paid less than $40 two years ago when my husband decided he wanted one on our sailboat when it was in the marina so he could have really cold drinks when he worked on the boat.

Most of the folks at the previous marina had similar small but efficient ones.

You have to be there when it drops the cubes, but from there into a freezer. (Beats ice trays.)
