I've had several stolen valor incidents in my career. The most common is someone using a costume. I know it was inconvenient for you, but the business isn't asking to much so they can manage it properly

Thank you for your service (to the OP) but idiots ruin common sense these days. The store is just trying to give discounts honestly.
