is far superior to ours

I have great respect for Mark Richt as a decent man, but what has he accomplished on the football field to earn a "far superior" rating?

This has to be either a joke, or is extraordinarily narrow-minded and seen through purple & gold glasses.

Mark Richt took over a mediocre UGA program (Donnan had them around 8-4, bowls but not a national threat), and made them contenders. Won the East several times, won the SEC title. 8 Top 10 finishes (Coach's poll, 7 from AP).
Took over a stale/mediocre Miami that hasn't been elite for over a decade, went 9-4 his first year, 10-3 his second. 10 seasons with 10+ wins; has won or tied for 1st in division 7 times.
3 Sugar Bowls with UGA, Orange Bowl with Miami.

In his second year at Miami, he won 10 games, won his division, and made the Orange Bowl (New Year's 6); so he sure doesn't seem washed up yet.

His criticism is that he loses the big game, but he does get the team to the big game.

What does Orgeron have that approaches Richt's record? You take O's entire career (including interims at USC and LSU), and there's no 10 win seasons, no conference or division titles, no elite bowls. His stay at Ole Miss was incredibly terrible, his 2 interim seasons were both 6-2 (so he lost 2 out of 8 games), and his lone full season at LSU he went 9-4.
