Yea I say 13-3. Sweeping Carolina and Tampa, splitting with Atlanta and beating the rams.

I’m saying we go 13-3, I could see 12-4 or 14-2 though. As we all know we will have some very close games and it depends how those turn out on how good our record will be.

It’s going to be a great season to be whodat! Here’s to a 2nd Super Bowl trophy for the city of New Orleans!

Love how any predictions too high or too low get downvoted lol.

At some point, this team has to sustain success and string together back to back winning seasons again. There can’t be another setback.
Sure, the division and schedule is tough, but this team is on a level where they are expected to win.

5 games on primetime, huge games at home, young emerging stars, Drew breaking historic records - the buzz is back, and this season has so much potential to be one of the greatest in Saints history.

It’s one thing to predict conservatively, but if you are predicting 8-8, I think you are just being a pessimist.

11-5 would be my base line.

Cause that sounds cool.

yeah I agree with all of that. The thing is though, if we can stay relatively healthy I think 12 wins should be a lock.

In the last decade or so...12 wins in the NFL has been a lock for

A) The Patriots

B) The Colts under Manning for about a decade in that shite division.

That's about it.

I certainly think this team is capable of winning 12 but the schedule on paper is a bitch.

My gut says 12-4.

For fun I tallied everyone's predictions.

13-3 was most common.
19-0 was highest with 5 votes.
7-9 was lowest with 1 vote.
12-4 was the average.
11-5 throwing out the outliers.

For more fun: This time last year...
High: 11-5
Low: 3-13
Average: 7-9

It's July of course it's 19-0. Even Cleveland thinks they are going to the Super Bowl in July

Its a popular narrative that our schedule is pretty difficult but I think when broken down its not as bad as it seems. First off each season in the NFL is different. Not all the playoff teams that were there last year will be world beaters this year. game by game I got:

Bucs, Browns at home to start season (W,W)
@ Falcons - Conservative pick (L)
@ Giants - Even being conservative (W)
MNF Home Game against WSH (W)
BYE
Brees and Payton finally get monkey off their back and beat Ravens - only team they haven't beaten - after an extra week to prepare (W)
@ MIN in primetime (L)
LAR at home, Bengals on road - Conservative guess to say 1-1 in these two (L,W) or (W,L)
PHI - For me this is one of those cases of a team that will have a large swing from season to season and won't be nearly as good this year on a super bowl hangover (W)
ATL @ HOME IN PRIMETIME - Saints start rolling (W)
DAL on road IN PRIMETIME - Saints have an extra 4 days to prepare and continue to roll (W)
@ BUCS, @ CAR (W,L) or (L,W)
End season hosting PIT and CAR - either (W,W) or (W,L)

I see no worse than an 11-5 season, a bit of luck here and there and I could see a 13-3 season.

8-8

losses:
Atlanta X 2
Carolina in NC
Baltimore
MINNY
PITT
PHIL
LA

they very well may go 7-9 depending on what they do with the Cowboys in Dallas.

They need to beat the Vikings and/or Rams. Seems like those two teams have the saints number.
