Ah ok. So then in that case, do you think it would be smart to put it in wife or somebody else's name until JR gets into college? Or not worth the hassle?

Man I really don’t know enough to feel comfortable to comment on your situation. If you’re gonna use the funds for Jr though, Jr needs to be the beneficiary. You or the wife can be the owner of the account.
