I would comment back with something angrily worded. The truth is, you weren't there and you aren't the one suffering the f'ked up loss of a child. It helps nothing. They are paying their price in full. I get it. It sucks, and it LOOKS like they weren't responsible enough.

Bottom line is you weren't there, so don't help create negative public sentiment over something you know nothing about.

The social media complaint of yours would only barely apply if they weren't public figures. Regardless, however someone chooses to grieve is their business. Not yours.
