Anyone ever fish there? I have the chance this coming week, and everything I have read talks about the big bass down there.

I catch nice ones from my dock on Lake Butler all the time. Always get bites on pearl white flukes. Super clear water and lots of big bass.

I haven't but I follow Chuck Pippen on Youtube. He's a bass guide and fishes Lake Toho and the Butler Chain a lot. Check him out. You may be able to pick up some tips.

I have an acquaintance who is a guide on those lakes.
I live near them but, I’ll confess that I’ve never fished them. They are difficult to access due to very limited parking at their ramps. The rich bastards who own homes have fought hard to make it next to impossible for the average fisherman to have access.
I usually fish the Harris Cain which is located in Lake County.
