No if you didn’t even know what they were prior to your consultation. Also, did your OMFS treatment plan the reduction or just say during your exam that you’ve got them and it’s something he can reduce if you’re interested?

Yes if they do bother you or frequently get cut by sharp foods like chips. You’ll only have to be sedated/take off work/take pain meds once.
