This is my theory. In order for humans to evolve from chimps, it would require some type of selective breeding. It would require chimps with certain physical traits and intelligence to reproduce with other chimps with certain physical traits and intelligence..

I don't think that is how we became human. We are just another animal. There use to be other types of humans (archaic humans like Neanderthals for example) and we evolved from them into what we are today. Through out intelligence we are able to continue to evolve..

We continue to evolve because evolution is an ongoing process. Not a race with a finish line. It's not as if we're a finished product.

Someone hasn't paid much attention to society today. You can't evolve as a species if all of the stupid and weak survive because you put warning labels on everything and tell people not to make toast in the bathtub.

Sometimes you just need a few morons to make toast in the bathtub.

We are devolving, imo.

Turtles with the long necks on Galapagos island have evolved. The shorter necks died out, bc they couldn't reach food.

Animals do not evolve, populations do.
