Smith being hurt was a major piece that was missing this year that could have had a big positive impact on the season. Broussard was batting over .400 before his injury. He came back in the middle of SEC play three weeks after having plates put in his hand, and could barely grip a bat. I'm confident that those two will be a great middle-infield combo for next year.
