Not at all. This is about baseball and whether people with passed transgressions can play. And the answer is obviously a resounding yes based on the amount of athletes that have gone through the NCAA with equal or worse that have occurred WHILE attending. End of story.

You can shun him for the rest of his life but you are not above the law to say that he has not legally paid. So, this comes down to a matter of should he be allowed to play baseball? Well, that's not up to you to decide, but you can certainly have your own opinion about it.

You only care about the situation because you are playing against him and sadly the amount of virtue signalling on this forum is beyond absurd. I am done with this board and your ignorant mob mentality. This issue with Heimlich goes beyond baseball. I have given you all the information you need yet you still continue to add fake news to the story.

Still waiting on you to tell me why he can't "legally" be kicked off the team.

Lost respect for you here. What is fake news about the story that was crafted? The dude is guilty. He ruined a marriage. His family didn’t want anything to do with him anymore. The child gave a specific account of what happened that extended over a 3 year period.

He doesn’t care about what he did and still pretends he didn’t do it to this day. No amount of peripheral bullshite will change our minds. It’s one thing for you to defend the school but don’t think by any stretch of the imagination that we are going to magically support you views on it. People have their limits when it comes to molesting kids.

At least one MLB team has come out and said that he won’t be pitching in their organization. And given the way these guys network with each other, I’d say it’s a fair bet that they’re just the ones who’ve made a formal announcement.

Now being that southpaws who bring it with the kind of heat and movement that Heimlich does are in EXTREMELY short supply, some MLB organization may want to keep their options open and take a late round flyer on him. But he’ll make very little money. And in the bus leagues, he’d better develop a hide like an alligator, because EVERYBODY is gonna know who he is, and those guys don’t give a frick. He’ll NEVER hear the end of it.

I’d say his best hope for a satisfactory life is to get his degree from OSU and hope he can blend into the anonymity of the workforce in whatever field his degree’s in.

Look in the mirror buddy. You are defending a child molester because you only care about the situation. Baseball player or not he is a sick individual. Win or lose this regional no matter what Oregon State University are the real losers by allowing this disgusting sick individual to play and represent their university.

A man who molested a 6 year girl is wearing an OSU uniform and is your star player on national tv. Let that sink in.
