That sucked and so did the Ucla game in 2013. The park and the new bats screwed LSU. Really think that would have been PM 2nd NC. It didn't happen

He wins , what else matters ? The next skip, Ray is out there and it isn't PM

Brian O’Connor and Jim Schlossnagle are both sitting at home this postseason but people still think they’re better coaches.

Exactly, and how many more national titles do they have than mainieri?

Jim at MSU could be trouble for LSU. He did a magnificent job at a small private school that doesn't have the support or facilities of a major player like MSU or LSU.
PM is at one of the premier programs in terms of support and facilities . Look at OSU's field and they have 2 recent NC's. Not many programs have the support LSU does. Some of these coaches mentioned would thrive with that type of support

Don’t you think State would hire Mainieri in a heartbeat if they had the chance?

Jim’s a great coach and would do well at MSU

No, I think they are getting who they want. I think Jim will win a NC there as well. PM is a good coach but has underperformed. You are not going to win a NC every year but one NC in 11 years isn't legend material . One every 6 or 7 would be nice

You dog mainieri and then say Oregon st has two recent cws titles. They were fricking 13 years ago.

I laughed at that as well

I agree, but look who Texas had to settle for last year, and they could definitely afford any coach they wanted. I’m willing to give him another season to right the ship. If we are this mediocre next season then we definitely need to start looking around for other options
