I'm in the same boat. It's either multifocal contacts or bifocal glasses. I think I'm gonna just go get Lasik done and wear reading glasses.
The whole reason I wear contacts is because my eyes (cursed blue eyes) are light sensitive and I have to wear sunglasses most of the time. I don't like photo-gray or transition lenses as they give me headaches. At least if I get Lasik done I can still wear my sunglasses and if needed get a set with a magnification in them for reading (or just carry a pair of "cheaters" with me) and pull off my sunglasses if I'm trying to read something in the sunlight.
