Pet Peeve: douche trucks and handicap parking

If you can climb into a jacked up truck, you don’t need a handicapped license. That being said, this old lady just parked next to me in a Ford F-150 King Ranch 4x4 Off-road. She skipped the handicap spot available despite her hang tag and proceeded to take up two regular spots. She parked with the white line squarely in the middle of her truck rendering two spots unusable. Then she climbed down with her cane and ambled into the building. Oh and she is like 80 years old. Trust me you don’t want the pictures.

What if you have a degenerative muscular disorder that impairs you with continued muscle use? You could climb in a truck easily and look "healthy" to the average person, but get fatigued by walking a hundred yards to the store.
Is that person allowed to park his truck in a handicapped spot?

also she only left 1 spot useless. if she parked correctly she would still use the other spot

Maybe the handicaped spot isn't for her, but she has it on her vehcile because of her husband, child...
I have family memebrs that have handicapped plates because they are the primary caregiver to a handicapped person. When that peson is not with them, they do not park in the handicapped spot.

One of the problems in society today is people getting worked up over inconsequential stuff that affects your life for about 2 minutes.
You spent more time posting and reading responses than it would have to ignore the old lady and walk across the parking lot.

I never see trucks parked in these spots. It’s akways The Real Hoodrats of Baton Rouge crowd that loves parking in handicap spots
