I don't think they're catering to those states. I think they're catering to the student athletes that have nothing to do with it. They're the ones playing in the tournament, not the state of California. Do you think the NCAA should send students to a regional and incite a political mess in a non-political arena just to prove a point at the expense of the kids who earned the right to play? Or would it be better not to create a circus (what California likely wants) when it is completely avoidable?

That's a ridiculous point of view. The NCAA is not a party to this issue, and doesn't have to solve it...nor should they. Inevitably, this will negatively affect some other team.

Did those "kids" not choose to go to that school in that state? You really think that an entire baseball team from California doesn't agree with their stance on the bathroom issue?
frick that bullshite. It's called life. Sometimes shite happens to you that you had nothing to do with, and maybe didn't agree with why it happened either.

the fact that they manipulated potential SR match-ups because of this silliness is a real problem for me.
Thank goodness California baseball is on the decline. This would have been a bigger issue in the past.
2018 - 4 California teams in the field
2008 - 11 "
