So you think this company is going to buy 10,000 tents and hire 10,000 waiters or whatever they are called, and buy 10,000 fans/heaters and 10,000 table and chair sets and just completely over-run the area around Tiger Stadium?

Do you think that, hypothetically, if Joe were to *shockingly* be a greedy frickhead and decide that everyone who wanted to tailgate in the premier/densely populated spots had to pay an annual fee that it would even matter? You do know that their campuses undergo a massive transformation peformed by thousands of employees for gamedays anyway, right? What would adding a few hundred employees for a few hours each mean to them if they were to net hundreds of thousands of dollars per game off of the decision? There would still be a large percentage of the fan base who would just pay to tailgate and the athletic department would be making more money than they currently do off of it, and that seems to be Alleva’s only concern.

How exactly am I being paranoid by pointing out the fact that, at this point, it’s glaringly obvious that Alleva’s approach to LSU football is purely based off of crunching bottom line numbers and choosing the option that grosses him more even if it’s detrimental to the fanbase and the gameday experience?
