I get all the normal channels you get with cable.

Tbh if you disregarded the guide interface differences if never notice a difference between YouTube tv and cable. It functions exactly the same way and costs almost a grand/year less.

I actually like the YouTube tv guide much more so than the cox guide. You have a tab for recordings, a "home" tab, which displays shows you watch regularly or similar shows. The home tab also has the shows you started watching but didn't finish.
Then you have the "live tv" tab that functions exactly like a normal cable guide.

Ok, this is a bump to see what experiences are a few months in. I am a free agent with DirecTv, having avoided their overtures for me to upgrade over the last few years. I think my current genie/clients are maybe getting a little fudgy running the software, not to mention it costs an arm and a leg every month.

I have 100 Mbps and unlimited and dependable, so no issue there. I've toyed with the interface on the trial a day or so now, and I can't see much of a downside except that I'll need to pick up HBO and any other pay move svc ala carte, which looks like I'll still come out way ahead. Thanks for any info regarding users who have been on it a while.
