Riley was fired for going 4-8.
Pelini was tired be being a hothead and an embarrassment.
Callahan was fired for being plain terrible.
Not sure where you get the whole “every coach that’s doing that/8-4” argument.

Solich was fired for averaging 3 losses a year, and he had 3/6 seasons of 2 or less losses
Pelini literally lost 4 games every single season.
You see how many coaches you are cycling through yet still dont get it - your program is toast. 4 losses is what you should expect, not be upset over.
Frost will probably be the best coach of the bunch (well, maybe Solich will have done better in the end, we will see), and he still wont have Nebraska close to competing on the national stage.
