4 site round robin for superbowls?

I live in Dallas now and a non saints fan friend of mine said that he heard on the radio this morning while driving to work that the NFL is considering a permanent 4 site round robin for superbowls. Nola, Miami, Vegas, and L.A. Awesome if true, I can't see this ever happening and can not find it reported anywhere else. Anyone else see this anywhere?

They will never do this without an allowance to bribe municipalities into funding stadiums so, as described it will not happen. It may happen in some other form that allows periodic SBs to be played in new stadiums.

The problem will be finishing out the rotation, with Vegas and Los Angeles as the anchor tenants at the Mall of America’s Real Pastime. Beyond that, it gets a little more cloudy.
Miami also is expected to be in the new rotation. Arizona and New Orleans are expected to be vying for the fourth spot, with New Orleans getting the edge if/when stadium renovations are finalized. The four prongs of the rotation will then be supplemented by the periodic wild card, with cities like Atlanta and Dallas ending up being the fifth destination every half decade or so. Likewise, non-rotation cities with new stadiums could end up in the mix.

They need to say those 4 locations have to host once per 10 years and cannot occur again til those 4 have hosted in a cycle.
That allows 6 other cities to bid for the sb and at least 2 will occur outside per 10 years.
2030: Vegas
2031: Dallas
2032: Miami
2033: Los Angeles
2034: New Orleans
2035: Minnesota
2036: Vegas
2037: Tampa Bay
2038: Denver
2039: New Orleans
Something like that works well. The major host cities cycle around often enough that it provides the best cities while giving the other cities a chance to host as well.
That allows 6 other cities to bid for the sb and at least 2 will occur outside per 10 years.

I don't get why you put two cities with little to no experience hosting Superbowls as your two #1 cities. But New Orleans and Miami have been doing this for ages and both cities have it down pat. If you did a poll of people who attend this event yearly which cities are best N.O. and Miami win in a landslide. Is there really that much gain financially to put LA and Vegas as your two must have spots?

I think a good solution would be to have 4 permanent sites (Miami, NO, 2 of LA/Phoenix/Vegas), and put a non permanent site in between the years where the permanent sites host.
The permanent sites will get a Super Bowl every 8 years, while the NFL still can visit other cities in between.

LA is absolutely getting a spot. It’s not even a debate. The league is going to have its biggest games in that 4B dollar stadium in the nations entertainment hub early and often. Also LA has hosted super bowls 7x in the past. It’s not like this event is new to them or that area can’t accomodate massive events.
Honestly it wouldn’t shock me if LA gets its own tier where the game is there at least twice a decade for sure with with everyone else (even the heavy hitters) being slightly less.

No way the owners (Jerry Jones or any other owner that would lose out on a Super Bowl) go for this...
