Yes and no. I've had to use my student ID as backup identification back when I was in school. I'm sure there were other things I could use, but having 2 photo IDs is helpful in certain situations.

LSU tried to make the Tiger Card a valid voting ID. I guess they scrapped that plan in favor of letting Whitney change her name to Chad. It's probably a good idea, though. It may keep a few fricking weirdos from voting.
