Problem is that you need to be ready to replace all appointee officials at DOJ until you get one trustworthy as the acting AG.
Pretty much you would have to fire Sessions and Rosenstein then appoint either the Solicitor General or one of the Deputy AGs.

Patience fellow patriot. I think this has been planned out so that there is no coming back for the cabal. As satisfying as a few perp walks would be, a weed this vile has to be removed down to the last bit of the root.

Horowitz does not have the power to bring halper but Huber Does.. Now with Halper being oversea's I am sure Huber will still be able to go see him or bring him in.. JMO

Nope, nope and (yes). IG will only have jurisdiction over FBI and DoJ. He will have zero jurisdiction to investigate the CIA or any other agency who were also neck deep in this.
