He was walking around the front gates at TS talking with fans and laughing it up. This most definitely comes as a shock. RIP.

Yeah, I was really surprised to hear the news. He seemed happy and at peace with his life now, so I'm glad he was at peace when he passed.

I can still hear that old LSU tape the bookstore used to sell with LSU's announcer talking about the night of the Billy Cannon run..."It was a hot, misty, muggy night...." Always loved that and then the recording of the run that followed.
