How much of this "growth" is attributable solely to Chenier and LNG exports?
The Sasol project ($8 billion) is huge. The Lotte project ($3 billions) is also huge. Lotte USA is moving their corporate headquarters from Houston to Lake Charles on top of that.
Other announced projects for Lake Charles include the G2X gas-to-liquids project ($1.2 billion), the Lake Charles Methanol project ($2 billion), and others that are in the works that have nothing to do with LNG.
But, LNG is obviously a huge contributor.
