We were there almost at the same time, I seem to remember being there maybe a week or so before you.

Yes it is crowded but for me it didn't matter too much. It was lovely and a cool experience.

Our favorite restaurant was Miky Cantina in Monterosso.

White wine, anchovies, and pesto are all a must. If you don't have all three you are really doing yourself a disservice.

And make friends with the owners of El Pirata and have one of their cannolis.

My intention isn't to shite all over your experience or anyone else's, for that matter. Anything I'm stating about CT is from my own personal opinion and experiences. I'm really glad y'all enjoyed yourselves - I do remember that you were going right around the same time as us now that you mention it.

I mean, how can a place like this be bad? We were there in July and it wasn't packed. The orange building at the top right, you see an umbrella, that was a small restaurant. Holy shite it was good. I had a simple salmon panini and it was out of this world. Now sitting there over looking the Med Sea didn't hurt.
